That was another dance that Stacey absolutely smashed out of the park. From the start, the atmosphere and the dress and the connection between the two of them was perfect for this dance. It was so nice as they both glide across the floor and i did see a great fleckle from the two of them. I didn’t really see what Craig meant by the American Smooth because i thought it was a really nice dance and I am normally quite a critic of the Viennese waltz because it is my favourite. I loved the character throughout and even when she started laughing because it just worked with the dance whether it was intentional or not. I didnt think it was technically perfect but it was so nice to watch.
This dance was absolutely perfect for Kevin and Stacey and it suited them to a tee because they’re both full of such joy and are just a bunch of goofs at heart. I was so impressed that they did a proper traditional charleston from the music to the outfits to the choreography. I was really impressed with her swivel, characterisation and it’s really nice to see her personality shine and that shes having a lot of fun. I always love the two of them dancing together and it was a great way to start the show – high pace, high energy and full of fun! Also, I really want her dress because it’s #awesome
So dramatic, so heartfelt and so emotional to watch, even Bruno she’d a tear! I loved this dance another really good grasp of character with fantastic storytelling. Really captured the whole feel of what Les miserables is all about. Another Stella performance that could see Stacey in the final
I love me a bit of Kevin, I love me a bit of Les Mis and it was actually a really good dance for her. I don’t know if it was technically perfect because I saw some issues with her hold, but I think it was the emotion and story telling that got her through the dance. They literally had the best song and musical in the history and with Kevin’s choreography, they pulled it off. Was it as good as the other dances? No. But it was great in its own way.
