Dance 2 – Lauren and AJ – Samba

Poor thing, i could see that she put everything into this dance but it didn’t really go her way but i did see that she was trying to enjoy herself. There were a few mistakes with her foot placements and there were some timing issues throughout which really shouldn’t be happening in the final. However, she had a massive smile on her face and I just love seeing her and AJ together and it was great how when she made the mistakes, she got back on board and tried to continue the dance. She should really be proud of herself of how far shes come and i can see how much she has improved and how hard she’s trying

Dance 1 – Lauren and AJ – Tango

After last week, i had such high hopes for Lauren but i just dont think this was her dance. I mean her characterisation is getting better and better but you could tell that she struggled. You could see her head going a bit floppy and her miss a few steps. The main thing for me was that you could see AJ guiding her through the moves or counting and that sort of got rid of the drama. However, apart from that, she attempted to drive throughout and I loved the choreography from AJ – it is crazy to see how much she has improved but it was definitely not her best but it wasn’t bad at all.

Lauren and AJ – American Smooth

I am so proud at how much Lauren has grown and we can definitely say that ballroom is much better for her. She had a really nice top line, she was pivoting beautifully around the floor and letting AJ lead her throughout the dance. The biggest thing for me is that we are starting to see Lauren’s story telling skills because I actually believed that I was watching a true love story between her and AJ. She was smooth, controlled and it looked like she absolutely loved dancing it – it’s crazy to see how far she’s come from week one and even how far she’s come from those Latin dances

Lauren and AJ – Viennese Waltz

The transformation from Lauren is absolutely amazing and I think this is probably her best dance. From the emotion she brings to the dance, to the control of the spins and even the adorable little fleckle – I just loved watching it and I’m glad that AJ stuck to a traditional Viennese waltz and kept the pure essence of the dance with such a romantic feel from the dance to the dress to the lanterns to the lighting. I think it was just a perfect dance for her!

Dances – part 4 (I did the maths wrong haha)

Lauren and AJ – Paso Doble

You know what, even with the small timing issues and not as strong shapes, this was one of Lauren’s best dances and I was totally invested from start to end. This dance is all about passion and character and she was in character throughout and I couldn’t keep my eyes off the two of them. She portrayed this strong and regal character and I am so proud of her (even if AJ’s weave did annoy me)

Congrats to Lauren!!
